The Recovery Compass
The Recovery Compass is the tool that we give to each client when they enter our care. It’s a weekly planner that spans the course of a year. Each week clients sit with their mentor, and plan out the week ahead of them.
The Compass Includes:
- Weekly schedule pages– Each day is broken down by time slot, and there are areas to write specific “to-dos.”
- Reflection pages– so clients can look back on what they learned and accomplished.
- Goal Setting exercises– At the beginning of each compass are pages and worksheets regarding attitude, exploring what makes you happy, asks you to define your goals, and asks you to assess various areas of your life. The beginning exercises are meant to help our clients get “the big picture” of what they are working towards.
- Budgeting Worksheets– The Compass also includes monthly budgeting pages, so clients can create a budget, track their spending, and prepare for a life of independence.
